Reaching our goals!

Our season is in full stride and we are 43 runners strong! It’s so exciting to see how contagious this effort is! Just 24 months ago a few us were talking about creating Team MAD and now we are 43 runners strong. Team MAD's 2008 goal is to recruit 50 runners to raise $50,000 to benefit My Sisters' Place. Our runners have just begun to reach out to potential donors and we are excited to see the generous support they are receiving! Our dedicated runners have been logging miles and hours on the streets, trails, and treadmills for over two months now. Many of them are beginning to believe that they will be able to do this. While training during the hot summer days, many of our runners have learned just how hard this "bucket list" accomplishment really is...but with a smile on their face (or a grin from the salt dripping in their eyes) they continue on... We are looking forward to the home stretch and reaching our goal of 50 runners raising $50,000 to benefit My Sisters' Place and their mission of ending homelessness.
